All Terrain Vehicle Operator's Course
The OHS Legislation requires competent training in the operation of these vehicles. They are dangerous in the hands of inexperienced persons or workers. This course is Canada Safety Council registered and combines minimal classroom time with extensive hands-on practical training. The training emphasizes safe operation to prevent injury or death. Good course for recreational users too!

Chainsaw Proficiency Courses - Level 1, 2 or 3
These are AWTA and HTC registered courses that train participants in the safe and proficient handling of a chainsaw in the workplace. These courses combine lectures and progressive hands-on training covering awareness, safety and basic operation up to the level of beginner feller.

Confined Space Entry Level 1 - Classroom Confined Space Entry Level 2 - Classroom/Hands-on Entry & Rescue Practice
Proper hazard assessment of different types of working spaces is the basis of this course. This course covers proper assessment of different types of confined spaces, hazardous confined spaces, and the legislative requirements for entry.

Fall Protection Level 1 - Classroom Fall Protection Level 2 - Classroom/Hands-on Rescue Practice
Proper hazard assessment of different situations where workers are working at a height is essential. This course provides proper assessment techniques of situations, procedures required and the legislative requirements. Workers falling from a height is the number 1 WCB claim for injuries in this country, and is totally preventable.

Fall Protection for Rig Workers - Enform Course
This course is designed for all rig workers who work at heights, near fall hazards or use fall protection equipment. Training includes regulatory requirements, equipment usage and full practical applications under simulated working conditions.

Fall rescue for Rig Workers - Enform Course
This course is designed for workers, supervisors, managers and safety personnel who may find themselves in a position to rescue an injured worker on the rig. The candidate must have successfully completed the Fall Protection for Rig Workers course previous to registering for this course.

Fire Safety Level 1 - Classroom Fire Safety Level 2 - Classroom/Hands-on use of Fire Extinguisher
One of the most common hazards in the workplace is fire and it is important to know how to put them out safely. It is also important for employees to know when not to fight a fire and flee. This course covers basic fire theory, fire extinguisher types and uses, and the PASS method. The level 2 Course provides the student with the opportunity to extinguish a fire.

First Line Supervisor's Blowout Prevention Tutoring & Exam Administration
Tutoring, preparation and Accommodation to challenge the Enform First Line Exam. We will provide the preparation and supervision the writing of the exam at either the Archerwill or Porcupine Plain office. A person is allowed to challenge this exam twice before being required to take the actual Enform First Line Course in Alberta.
Forklift Safety - Classroom/Hands-on Use of Forklift This course is being replaced by the Powered Mobile Equipment Operators Course
Forklift safety covers the theories of forklift operation, government legislation, safe operating practices, loading, carrying and unloading the forklift. This course is a combination of classroom lectures, videos and hands-on operating skill assessment.
General Oilfield Driver Improvement (GODI) - Classroom
This Course is Enform created, and intended for oilfield truck drivers operating vehicles with a GVW of 5500 kg and over. Topics include defensive driving skills, professional driving attitudes, regulations, policies, National Safety Code requirements, proper vehicle inspection, securing of loads, off-highway driving techniques, road conditions and hazards. The course also covers non-driving skills such as map reading, hand signals, vehicle equipment operations, load and tie chain securement.

Ground Disturbance - Classroom
A ground disturbance is defined as any work, operation or activity that results in the penetration of the ground at any depth for mechanical equipment or the penetration of the ground to a depth greater than 300 mm for hand equipment. This classroom based program trains participants in ground disturbance safety, procedures and practices.

Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) - Classroom
This course does not meet the requirements for heavy industry training, but is suitable for some light business needs. This course covers the physical properties and health hazards of H2S, how to protect oneself and a discussion of the different types of equipment that should be used. This course can be specifically designed to meet the needs of the business/company requesting the training.
This course is designed for those agricultural locations that do not require Enform training standards. The course is aimed at intensive livestock operations such as hog barns. Aspects of H2S and other potential risks are covered in the course through examination of the Legislation, properties of the gases, exposure limits, identification of hazardous situations, job safety analysis, safe work procedures, rescue strategy requirements and emergency response plans.
This course is Enform created. Hydrogen sulphide is colourless, heavier than air and extremely toxic. It is formed by the natural decomposition of organic materials in the absence of oxygen. It is encountered in a variety of industrial and agricultural processes. This course covers the physical properties and health hazards of H2S, how to protect oneself, basic rescue techniques and basic rescue equipment. Training consists of classroom lectures and hands-on exercises with breathing apparatus and resuscitation techniques.

their own course for presentation. Methods for topic development, lesson plans
and pulling the material together as a presentation will be discussed. The
candidates will make actual presentations in class throughout the course using
the methods and skills provided to them.
This is a good course for new people who find themselves having to
provide training at work, or for those who wish to further develop their
skills.
Oil and Gas Introduction Class - Classroom
This course will serve as a introduction to those individuals interested in starting a career in the Oil & Gas Industry. The course content will include an overview of the industry and cover areas of exploration, drilling services, servicing and maintenance, pipelines, trucking, processing, and oilfield safety.

Powered Mobile Equipment Operator's Course
This is a new course specifically designed to meet the requirements of
the amendments to the Saskatchewan Occupational Health and Safety
Legislation. While designing the course, we ensured that the material
also met the legislative requirements of Manitoba, Alberta and the
Canada Labour Code. Powered mobile equipment now covers any piece of
motor powered equipment on a work-site that carries the weight of the
operator. For example: zoom-boom, reach trucks, forklifts, riding
lawnmowers, riding snowblowers, yard tractors, skid-steer, gators etc.
This course will cover general material regarding pre-use inspections,
maintenance, operating techniques, safe operating practices, safe
loading, safe carrying and safe unloading. Additionally, the
legislative requirements (OHS Laws), policy development, checklist
development, training record requirements and the requirement for
powered mobile equipment job safety analysis will be covered. The
participants in this course will be provided with enough information
for their employer to understand the changes, and complete the worksite
and equipment specific training as stipulated in the legislation.
Specific modules on zoom-booms, scissor-lifts, skid-steer and forklifts
will be covered as well as appropriate.
This course will satisfy 8 hours of the 16 hours of training minimally specified in the amendments.

Skid Steer Loader Safety Class - Classroom/Hands-on use of Skid Steer This course is being replaced by the Powered Mobile Equipment Operators Course
This course is similar to the Forklift Safety Course except that is focuses more specifically on the safe operation of the skid steer type of small lift vehicle. Course is a combination of classroom and videos with hands-on operating skill assessment.
Snowmobile Safety Course - Classroom/Hands-on use of Snowmobile
This is the mandatory course for all snowmobile operators in Saskatchewan between the ages of 12-15. The Saskatchewan Safety Council developed course includes legislation/law, pre-start checks, safe operating procedures, trail riding, survival and ice safety. This course is also recommended for anyone over 16 years of age who operates a snowmobile.

Special Oil Well Operator
Tutoring and preparation to write the Alberta Special Oil Well Operator Ticket (recognized in Alberta and Saskatchewan) which qualifies the holder to take charge of a power plant operating at an oil drilling site having aggregate capacity not exceeding 100 Kw. Must have a minimum of 6 months experience. After completing this tutoring course, the student must make their own arrangements to write the Alberta exam. Books and Alberta exam schedule are included in this one day preparation course.
Spill Responder Course - Classroom
This course covers the legislative requirements for industrial spill planning and preparedness. Additionally, it covers initial spill response, spill response organization, containment and recovery.

Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road - Classroom
The TDG legislation was established to enhance safety and promote uniformity in the transport of hazardous materials. The legislation requires that training, proper safety marks, proper product transporting containment all be adhered to. The regulations state that "no person shall handle, offer for transport, or transport dangerous goods unless trained to do so.

Transport of Dangerous Goods Instructor Course - Classroom
This course includes the TDG Course - by Road, and then a more in-depth presentation on the TDG Legislation. Through the use of practical exercises, students look up products and learn how to create bills of lading and then determine the required safety marks. Instructional techniques are also covered in this class. This course is designed for people who will be presenting TDG courses to their employees in-house.

Train the Trainer Course - Classroom
This generic course will prepare a in-house instructor for effective delivery of any training session. Adult learning techniques, use of various forms of media, use of tests, and lesson plan preparation is all presented in this session. Using all this information, the students will do at least 2 presentations each in this class. Good course for the novice instructor, and the experienced instructor looking for personal development and style improvement.

Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System Course - Classroom
WHMIS applies to every workplace and the method in which regulated products are handled, used, stored and disposed of. This course covers the legislated use of labels, MSDS sheets, worker education and emergency response plans.

This course includesdoes the WHMIS course, and then a more in-depth presentation of the applicable Federal and Provincial Legislation mandating the WHMIS programs in a workplace. Instructional techniques are also covered in this class. This course is designed for people who will be administering and delivering the WHMIS course to their employees in house.
