Fire Safety Level 1 - Classroom
Fire Safety Level 2 - Classroom/Hands-on use of Fire Extinguisher

One of the most common hazards in the workplace is fire and it is important to know how to put them out safely. It is also important for employees to know when not to fight a fire and flee. This course covers basic fire theory, fire extinguisher types and uses, and the PASS method. The level 2 Course provides the student with the opportunity to extinguish a fire.

Level 1: 1/2 day
Level 2: 1 full day

Fire Safety Instructor Training Course

This course will prepare the experienced person to deliver a Fire Safety Course that complies with both Federal and Provincial OHS Legislative requirements. The course will cover all of the material in the Fire Safety Level 2 in detail. The second day will provide the instructor candidate with technical delivery information such as adult learning styles, instructor techniques and practice at the delivery of part of the course.
