Community Commitment
Eastside Safety Ltd. is committed to the community groups that benefit the towns were are based in. These groups provide a variety of services, usually by volunteers, who accomplish incredible tasks with the minimum of money. We believe in these groups and support them. These various community minded groups and people make our towns a better place to live in.
It is our way of returning something to the communities for their support of our business.

Celebration of The Royal Canadian Legion
D-Day & VE-Day Anniversary Celebration
D-Day & VE-Day Anniversary Celebration
Our local Royal Canadian Legion Branches celebrated both the anniversary of D-Day and VE-Day. Eastside Safety assisted in the celebration by compiling a powerpoint presentation commemorating the veteran's contribution to our freedom. We have attached a copy of both presentations for people to view or download. The VE-Day presentation includes scanned photos of many of our local military people who served during the war. The presentations were well received by the large groups in attendance, and in some cases, the music and pictures brought tears of remembrance to some. We have a lot to thank for the lives sacrificed during the wars, and we should never forget their contributions.
The presentations were set to music of that era, but the files were too large to include. If any school group or Legion Branch would like a copy of these presentations to use, please contact us and we will send it to you. These groups may also alter the presentations to suit their local needs. The quality of the pictures is higher in the actual powerpoint.
